A new exhibition of the astonishing and visionary work of Hilma af Klint features in this edition of Spectrum. In a major exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW from 12 June – 19 September 2021 Sydney-siders get a once in a life time chance to peruse the ‘secret paintings’ of the revolutionary Swedish painter. Thought to be the first abstract painter her radical works were considered so odd and alarming in the early 20th Century they were stored away for decades.

There was no time for tea when The Honorable Paul Fletcher, Minister for Communications, Urban Structures, Cities and the Arts visited 2RPH today, with an entourage including Jon Bisset, CEO of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia and Senator Andrew Bragg. It was a great opportunity for Sancha Donald, General Manager of 2RPH, to discuss the role of community radio with the minister.
