Changing audition process for station

Individuals who would like to become an on-air Reader, Announcer or Presenter must now apply to audition. After a meeting in January of the four-member Audition Committee, the information required to apply is now on the website under Get Involved. Applications are taken throughout the year.

One of the most common pieces of feedback from our listeners is the quality of our presentation. For many listeners 2RPH is the only channel for which they receive news and information about their communities and Australian and international news and current affairs, so the delivery and correct pronunciation of names and organisations is an area the station hopes to improve over the coming year.

This year marks a calendar full of volunteer events and ongoing development to ensure our nearly 200 volunteers feel supported in the work they contribute to the organisation.
