2RPH joins Vinnies CEO Sleepout

On a cold evening last Thursday, June 21, 2RPH’s General Manager Sancha Donald and Administration Assistant Danielle Hanrahan joined some of Australia’s most prominent leaders for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a one-night event over one of the longest and coldest nights of the year. Hundreds of CEOs, business owners as well as community and government leaders sleep outdoors to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness.
Since its inception, the Sleepout has raised more than $42 million to fund Vinnies homeless services across Australia. In 2017, more than 1200 business leaders raised $5.6 million across Australia, with the national target this year to raise $6.4 million.
While Sancha and Danielle did not sleep out, they did meet with some of the participating leaders, like Shane Richardson, Managing Director of Coca-Cola Amatil, who is pictured with Sancha, to canvas potential participants for a new interview program. They were able to talk about the work of 2RPH to several leaders and get a few interested interviewees, so stay tuned for the launch of this exciting new program!
