TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1) Radio 2RPH Co-operative Limited (Radio 2RPH) is conducting the 2024 Radio 2RPH Listener Survey (the survey) and the competition/prize draw (the competition). Radio 2RPH is a not-for-profit co-operative and registered charity with its principal place of business at 7/184 Glebe Point Rd, Glebe, NSW, 2037.

2) Radio 2RPH operates its terrestrial broadcasting services (AM, FM, and Digital Audio Broadcasting) solely in the State of New South Wales and provides simulcast online audio services (streaming) and on-demand content (podcasting) to a wider audience beyond any fixed geographic boundaries.

3) The survey is principally intended for Radio 2RPH listeners residing in our terrestrial coverage areas of Greater Sydney, Newcastle/Lower Hunter and Wollongong/Illawarra.

4) Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and adequately completing the listener survey are the necessary preconditions for an individual to obtain once-only free entry to a lottery draw from a prize pool of up to $1,000 that is on offer for up to six prize winners.

5) The value of the prizes is as follows:

  • First prize = $500
  • Second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth prizes = $100 each

6) The competition’s opening and closing times are as follows: 12 pm Monday 13 May until 11 pm Monday 10 June 2024.

7) Each survey participant can only complete the survey once and will be required to provide proof of identity. Competition entries are on an individual basis; no groups, syndicates, or pseudonyms will be accepted.

8) Survey participants are required to provide Radio 2RPH with personal information such as their name and email address. Radio 2RPH collects participants’ personal information to conduct the competition and associated research study. Radio 2RPH’s Privacy Policy is available below.

9) The prize winner will be selected by random draw, which will take place at the Radio 2RPH principal place of business on the prize draw date of Monday, 17 June 2024.

10) Prizes are not transferable, refundable, or exchangeable.

11) Radio 2RPH will make all reasonable efforts to notify the prize winner no later than two weeks after the prize draw date. If a winner cannot be contacted or refuses the prize, it will be offered to the next randomly drawn entry. Our decision is final and binding as to the prize winner, and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the conduct of the competition or otherwise.

12) The prize will be available for collection by the winner at a time organised as suitable for the winner or by an alternative method that is mutually acceptable as agreed between Radio 2RPH and the winner.


Radio 2RPH Privacy Policy

PURPOSE

This policy defines the way Radio 2RPH ensures that the information it collects and stores about individuals is managed in accordance with legislated Privacy Principles and the privacy requirements of relevant funding bodies

POLICY STATEMENT

2RPH is committed to protecting and upholding the right to privacy of clients, staff, volunteers, Board members and representatives of agencies we deal with.  In particular, 2RPH is committed to protecting and upholding the rights of our members, listeners and volunteers to privacy in the way we collect, store and use information about them, their needs and the services we provide to them.

2RPH is committed to transparency in its operations and to ensuring it is open to public scrutiny. It must also balance this with upholding the rights of individuals to privacy and of the organisation to confidentiality on sensitive corporate matters.

2RPH requires staff, volunteers and Board members to be consistent and careful in the way they manage what is written and said about individuals and how they decide who can see or hear this information.

2RPH is subject to Privacy Act 1988. The organisation will follow the guidelines of the Australian Privacy Principles 2015 in its information management practices.

2RPH will ensure that:

  • it meets its legal and ethical obligations as an employer and service provider in relation to protecting the privacy of members, clients and organisational personnel.
  • clients and members are provided with information about their rights regarding privacy.
  • clients and organisational personnel are provided with privacy when they are being interviewed or discussing matters of a personal or sensitive nature.
  • all staff (paid and volunteer) and Board members understand what is required to meet these obligations.

This policy will apply to all records containing personal information about individuals, whether in hard copy or electronic document, to interviews or discussions of a sensitive personal nature and to the content placed on the 2RPH website or any other electronic or internet information sharing system.

Personal information submitted to complete online purchases and donations through the official website of Radio for the Print Handicapped of NSW Co-operative Ltd is to be used only to ship and process orders or to provide a receipt and is not shared, sold, bartered or leased to third-party vendors.

Radio 2RPH Co-operative Limited will, upon request, and subject to applicable privacy laws, provide access to previously supplied personal information that is held in its systems.

2RPH will prevent unauthorised persons from gaining access to an individual’s confidential records and permit individuals to access their own records when this is reasonable and appropriate.

Accordingly, access to some 2RPH documents and records will be limited to specified individuals and not be available to others for viewing.

This policy applies to the internal records, client records and unpublished materials of 2RPH.
