2RPH is seeking a new General Manager to lead the station through its next exciting stage of growth and development to coincide with the planned departure of our highly successful General Manager Sancha Donald in September. 2RPH is currently: expanding its coverage area; seeking to relocate to larger, upgraded premises; and continually improving program content. We have around 200 active volunteers and a small team of paid staff, offering valued radio reading services to over 10% of the population who have difficulty accessing published material. We currently broadcast to Sydney, Newcastle and the Lower Hunter, with transmission to Wollongong to be added in 2021.

The General Manager’s role is offered on a three-year contract, with a salary package to be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications. The position is responsible for developing a team culture to achieve close collaboration between employees, members, volunteers, service providers and key stakeholders.

Our Sydney-based community radio station is part of the national RPH network and serves the information and entertainment needs and interests of people who for many reasons are unable to access published materials, including people with vision or physical impairment; and people who are aged or isolated.
