In conjunction with The Sydney Writers’ Festival, this month Anthea Williams talks with writers Kylie Maslen and Jacinta Parsons about their insightful, wise and achingly honest new work. Both Kylie and Jacinta have written remarkable debut novels about their chronic illness and what it's like to live with an invisible disability. Kylie and Jacinta explain why they had to write about it and also what they hope will change in medical protocols, as well as the way the media portrays disability. And if you want to gout for a good time this week?  Check out Awaye, Black Blood and White Tears, Legs on the Wall, Trestle.
