University opportunities for all: uni 2 beyond

An initiative through the Centre for Disability Studies (CDS) is helping individuals with an intellectual disability realise their dreams of experiencing university life. The initiative, uni 2 beyond, supports students to attend classes, enjoy the social side of campus life and make new friends, and to help individuals join clubs or societies. 

Students in the program are supported by a small team at the Centre for Disability Studies, a not-for-profit organise that aims to create and disseminate knowledge that improves the lives of people with disability. The program has opened applications for university intake in 2020-2021, which would be for two years. During this time, students will be able to experience all aspects of university life at the University of Sydney.
