Bushfires in Aust

2RPH partner Information on Disability and Education Awareness (IDEAS) has provided a directory of useful information for people with disability who need help during the bushfire crisis.

2RPH partnered with Information on Disability & Education Awareness Services (IDEAS) to promote each organisation's services and events to people with a disability (PWD). IDEAS provides information and assistance to people who are aged; have a disability, or are disadvantaged.

IDEAS states on its website, "What support is available for people with disabilities in the current bushfire crisis? For people who have been affected by the fires, emergency aid, from emergency accommodation, evacuation centres, support services to financial assistance, is available.

As we begin the new year, the bushfire crisis is impacting communities throughout Australia. We have collated some useful and critical information for people with disability affected by the bushfire crisis sweeping the nation, especially those whose homes and communities have been directly impacted or are in the line of fire."

Head to the IDEAS bushfire information website to check the resources available for your state.
