On a recent vacation to India, General Manager Sancha Donald visited Radio Manav Rachna 107.8, part of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad campus in Haryana, India.

The visit, organised through Indu Shekhar, Head of Business Development - Asia Pacific BBC India, (he visited 2RPH in late 2018), provided an inspirational opportunity to discuss strategy, funding, programming and the impact of the two stations on their communities.

“It was surprising that while the development and presentation of content was quite different, the similarities relating to other aspects of the station were so similar!” Sancha said.

Established in 2009, Radio Manav Rachna is dedicated to their community which covers the campus and surrounding towns. Its programming focuses on helpful information and education on day-to-day issues, community affairs, and social awareness topics.
