Di Collins has worked in communications over the past 30 years in government and private enterprises in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. She commenced her career as an educator in environmental education before moving into community education, public relations and corporate affairs.
Di has led communications and corporate affairs with NSW Government departments of Education, Environment and Consumer Affairs, and with the UK Government in urban and rural renewal and regeneration. As a member of the senior management team at American Express-Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, and later NRMA-Motoring Services, she was responsible for all corporate affairs, communications and reputational risk management. Di now works with First State Super as a corporate affairs specialist.
Her extensive board member experience within tourism and marketing industry associations equips her for her role as Chair of the Finance and Risk Committee, Co-Chair of the Marketing, Publicity and Promotions Committee and member of the Governance Committee.
Her qualifications include a BA, an MA and a Dip Ed as well as various professional industry awards.
Di produces the Good Food program for 2RPH which airs each Tuesday at 3pm.
