Supporting students with disability

Wed, 25 October 2017

The Sydney region National Disability Coordination Officers (NDCOs), in collaboration with university students, is looking to establish a Sydney network for students with disability to support the sharing of information between students with a disability or medical condition enrolled in tertiary study.

The network’s aims include: peer support and mentoring, improving transition into and out of university, advocacy for students, data collection and recording student experiences, and disability awareness and knowledge for students, staff and the community.

The network is currently looking for any students, who identify as a person with a disability, to express interest in joining the network. If you’re such a student, register your interest here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RLPRCRH

The National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) Program supports people with disability to access and participate in tertiary education and subsequent employment, through a national network of regionally based NDCOs.
